My my My my
End of Season
by posted 04/16/2021

Good Evening WYHA Families and Players –

The End of the Season has arrived! And what a year it was. From the onset, we knew that this season was going to present challenges unlike any other season before. Having a season with minimal interruption during a Pandemic is truly awesome.

The season of parking lot locker rooms, games with no spectators and ever changing protocols to name just a few of this seasons norms – we can for sure say that this will be a season that we will never forget. Thank you Coaches, Players and our WYHA Families - We could not have had the season that we did without everyone doing their part and supporting WYHA.

The 20-21 Season sure did end with amazing team performances across the organization. To start with, we had 4 teams playing in the Valley Championships this past weekend and 2 won it all! Congratulations to the PeeWee2 and Mite1 teams for winning their Division Championship! Congratulations to all Players and Coaches for all of their hard work this season. See all the photos and video at the WYH FB page. (Due to Covid, there will be no Massachusetts Hockey State Tournament this year.)

Now that Playoffs are done, we will be releasing our teams’ rosters for the 2021-2022 season this week. You will receive an email from your child’s coach with specifics for your team within the next day.

Looking ahead to next season, we will send an email with instructions on ordering uniforms. Our official kick it off to start the season will be an event for the whole family called Drop The Puck. It includes a Street Hockey Tournament, food, drink, activities and prizes for the whole family. Please save the date of  Sunday, August  29, 2021 on your calendar!

Be Safe and enjoy your offseason and we look forward to seeing everyone at the end of the summer!

Thank you -

The Wilmington Youth Hockey Board of Directors
