Learn to Play
Hockey (Formally Mini-Mites) is a program designed for young skaters ages 4 to 9 years old that have never played organized hockey. These skaters must have some experience skating, including being able to stay on their feet. This is not a learn to skate program although basic skills will be used. This program is an in-house, fun introduction to the game of hockey with an emphasis on skills: stops & starts, edgework, and puck handling. Players will develop skating and puck control skills of the individual player, learn basic shooting and passing skills, and learn basic game play. Learn to Play Hockey runs for 12 weeks (twice a week) in two separate sessions.
